Two teams of 2 players each.
The game consists of several hands and ends when one of the teams reaches or exceeds 100 points. Each hand ends when one of the players puts down their last tile, or when all four players pass, after the first hand is played on each of the following rounds, the player to the right of the one who started the previous round will begin.
In Latin domino, the members of one team seat across each other and perpendicular to the other team, the tiles are shuffled facing down, each player grabs 7 tiles holding them close. The very first hand (round) is opened by player with the double six, each subsequent hand is opened by the next player on their right hand.
A hand begins by the head player placing a tile in the center of the board —On the very first hand the player holding the double 6 opens placing it in the middle —, the player on the right must play a tile that matches either of the numbers on the sides of the first tile therefore beginning to form a rail of dominoes, each subsequent player must play a tile that matches one of the numbers on either open end of the rail of dominoes, if a player has no matching hand they must pass and each player continues to match tiles until one of the players is left whit no tiles to play or all of the players pass.
If a player passes while holding a playable tile, the turn will be passed to the next person.
The winning team will score the total points from the remaining tiles held by the losing team. If there is a block or a closure, the team with the fewest points will be the winner, and no points will be added to their score. Only the losing team’s points will be added. In the event of a tie in points during a closure, no scores are awarded to either team.
